Community Rap

After Effects kinetic typography project featuring a 30 second rap from NBC’s hit show ‘Community’.
The rap is in Espanol (pretend there’s a tilde over the n with me), but the words are in English. If you watch it an average of 11 times in a row, you can learn some really useful basic Spanish. Fo’ Free.

Web

Potential website redesign for Central Michigan University’s Art Gallery. The site features a slideshow on the homepage with the current and upcoming exhibitions readily available. I wanted to create a site that was minimalistic and had very clean typography for easy navigation.

This webpage was created as a css exercise for a web class. It involved using the provided html and creating the css for an “outdoorsy” feel.

Below are some highlights from the Joe Hertler Music website created for Web Design II class. I wanted to try something completely different than a standard music website and this is what I envisioned a folk artist’s site to feel like–a lot of textures, earth tones, and very user friendly. The picture to the right of the page content fades in with each page load and remains static while the only part that scrolls is the brown background, which contains all of the page content.

Sample of the 70-page marketing campaign for the Moonstruck Chocolate Company that I designed as a part of the Colab Internship in Portland, Oregon. Oh yes, there was chocolate involved.

Festival Work

I was able to create all of the designs for the 2011 & 2012 Wompapalooza Electronic Music Festival.
